I need to update my email address


Email addresses to your account cannot be updated. However, you can always create a new account with a different email. Just remember, your old account data will not be available on this new account.




App crashing


If you notice glitches and crashes in the app, please make sure you have the latest version of the app! You can check your Apple Store or your Google Play Store to update your version. If you happen to notice some issues that are repetitive, please reinstall the app. Additionally, our team is dedicated to managing and monitoring technical issues with the app but you are also our eyes and ears, so please report any bugs within the app:

  1. Go to Profile tab.
  2. Select “Contact Us & FAQ”
  3. Choose to either “Report” the issue or we would love to hear any “Improvement Suggestions” you have.





Profile

My account is under review


Your account will be under review if you have been reported multiple times by others. We will review the reasons and double check if you have violated our Terms and Conditions https://www.blixrapp.com/terms You can check our Terms & Conditions to see if you have broken any of our rules. After our review we will take action to whether to resume your account or to permanently ban your account. At blixr we always keep an eye on our user’s safety and will always take action to prevent any negative outcomes or behaviour.




I can’t update my name or age


blixr does not allow you to change your name or age, this information is something that will remain the same for all profiles after signing up.




My profile isn’t getting updated


If you are not able to save your profile changes, we encourage you to check your network and check if you are using the latest version of blixr. If there are any technical glitches during your updating process, please contact us at https://www.blixrapp.com/contact or you can directly reach us through the app:

  1. Go to Profile tab.
  2. Select “Contact Us & FAQ”
  3. Choose to either “Report” the incident or we would love to hear any “Improvement Suggestions” you have.

Why was my photo removed from blixr?


To make everyone's journey fun, exciting and safe we do monitor each profile by verifying each profile with a selfie, if we find out your photo has violated our Terms & Conditions, we will take action. How can I delete my blixr account?


We’ll be sad to see you go! To delete your account:

  1. Click on Contact us & FAQ under the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom to “Delete My Account”. From here, you have the option to delete your account, however this action is irreversible! We do have our invisible option, that allows you to hide your profile for as long as you want. This is as good as deleting your account, as you won’t receive any new matches but only messages from your existing matches.





Connect

I'm not seeing other profiles to DateUp/TeamUp


blixr uses a special algorithm to help you filter matches most suitable to your preferences, if you don't find any profiles around you, we suggest you reset your preferences and increase the age range and search radius. You can expand your preferences to widen your search!




I’m seeing profiles I’ve already Dated Up or Teamed Up with


If you have encountered a few profiles you’ve already seen, then it may be because they have decided to come back to blixr through a new account or you clicked next on them previously and now there are no new profiles to show based on your settings criteria or you are having technical glitches. If this action has been repeated frequently in your display, we advise you to report the issue to us. To report bugs:

  1. Go to Profile tab.
  2. Select “Contact Us & FAQ”
  3. Choose to either “Report” the incident or we would love to hear any “Improvement Suggestions” you have.

The profiles I see are far away


If the profiles you see don’t match your location preference, please verify if your settings are set to the distance limit to your liking. Re-set your location and distance and check your matches, if it's still not working then try logging out and logging back into the app. If this action has been repeated frequently in your display, we advise you to report the issue to us. Profiles don't match my gender or age preferences


If the profiles you see don’t match your gender or age preferences, please verify if your settings are set to the gender or age of your liking:

  1. Go to Profile tab.
  2. Choose Settings in upper right corner.
  3. Adjust your preferences.
  4. Make sure to press Save.
If it’s still not working, then try logging out and logging back into the app. If this action has been repeated frequently in your display, we advise you to report the issue to us. To report bugs:

I denied blixr access to my location


blixr uses a unique algorithm for your matches and like any other location based app our main component is location. We use your location to help show you the users and events near you. You will be required to enable your location, when the app is active. On iOS:

  1. Go to iOS Settings.
  2. Press blixr under applications
  3. Turn on Location.
On Android:
  1. Go to Phone Settings.
  2. Press Apps.
  3. Choose Permissions.
  4. Turn on location for blixr.
Note: We will not share your location with any external companies.




I’m not getting push notifications


Ensure that notifications are turned on within blixr:

  1. Go to Profile tab.
  2. Go to Settings in upper right corner.
  3. Choose which notifications you want to enable or disable.
Alternatively, ensure that your phone settings allow notifications from blixr as this might be the cause of the problem. If this does not help, please contact us through the app.





Chat

One or more of my matches disappeared


If a connection is no longer visible or if your conversation has disappeared, the user in question has unmatched you, deleted their account, or they've been blocked by blixr. Don’t worry and keep blixing! In case this is a technical glitch from our side, we apologize in advance for your trouble and will try our best to get the app working accordingly. Meanwhile, you can help us by reporting the issue. To report bugs:

  1. Go to Profile tab.
  2. Select “Contact Us & FAQ”
  3. Choose to either “Report” the incident or we would love to hear any “Improvement Suggestions” you have.

I accidentally unmatched someone


This is a permanent action and we are sorry to say we do not offer any service to recover your match!





Billing and Subscription

Charged again after cancelling my subscription


If you feel like you have been charged beyond your subscription period, you can contact our customer service to explain your subscription. In the meantime we also encourage you to delete your payment details and keep track of all transactions through blixr to avoid this from repeating until you decide to repurchase our paid services.
